Requirements

Job Description DPR Construction is seeking a Commissioning Manager with at least 8+ years of experience commissioning large, technical projects, preferably those that are Mission Critical. This individual will ultimately verify and close out all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety and fire sprinkler scopes of a project. The Commissioning Manager will work closely with all members of the project team and will be responsible for the following: Commissioning and validation certification of project systems, including the turnover package. Deploying full commissioning plans for all MEP systems that identify and define the following: all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations. Day to Day management of the commissioning process and the commissioning team for large data center project. Use of technology; BIM360 used to track all items. Good understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems and the integration of same with mechanical/electrical/building systems. Good understanding of test and balance requirements. Good understanding of direct controls installations/integration (PLC controls).
