Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and lead teams to solve challenging and unusual problems.
  • Manage multiple, parallel projects for various clients, including resource management, budget planning and tracking, scope control, and client communication and relationship management.
  • Work independently and on project teams.

Requirements

  • Master of Science, Master of Engineering, or Doctorate in Structural Engineering or related field required.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in structural engineering or engineering mechanics. Will consider more experienced candidates for Senior Consulting Engineer roles.
  • Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong background in structural analysis, structural dynamics, structural design, and engineering mechanics is required.
  • Experience with external hazards equipment qualification techniques including analysis, shake table testing, and experience data.

Engineering Mechanics and Infrastructure (EMI) applies engineering mechanics, materials science, numerical simulation, innovative technologies, and collective expertise to solve our clients' toughest problems in an inspiring work environment that nurtures life-long learning and growth. The EMI group provides services to facilities located in the United States and internationally requiring advanced state-of-the-art analysis, such as nuclear and non-nuclear power generation facilities, national defense installations, pipelines and tanks, precision structures, and other non-building structures and systems.
