Responsibilities
- Collaborate product integration needs for new technology and advancements via M&As with various Product R&D divisions, Product marketing, Sales & Support, Fulfillment and Finance.
- Data Lifecycle Management: Managing product data from creation (onboarding) to syndication, ensuring consistency across quote-to-cash systems and processes.
- Manage product pricelist publication, generate pricelist and work closely with Marketing to initiate review and approval of the pricelist changes and publish pricelist information to Sales and Sales finance team.
- System Administration & Integration : Overseeing the Product Information Management system processes by ensuring smooth data flow between different systems like Salesforce, SAP, Fulfillment & Finance reporting systems.
- Identify and recommend automation possibilities with the product information systems for fulfilling dynamic and evolving business needs of various product lines, business operations and system integrations.
- Work closely with IT team to effectively define and implement business requirements for the product information management system.
- Product Data Standardization: Defining and enforcing policies to ensure data quality, stewardship, and security, reducing redundancy across the organization.
- Cleansing, standardizing, and deduplicating data, ensuring attributes such as business model definitions, business unit categorization, licensing features, release versions, dimensions, and pricing are accurate.
- Ensure data governance, define and strategize the integration needs, understand product manifestation and how it drives different business requirements and rules in the various downstream systems / platforms of the quote-to-cash process.
- Essential Skills
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in Excel and ability to analyze large datasets to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or gaps in product data. Ability to map complex data models and resolve data quality issues using AI tools.
- Process Improvement: Ability to streamline workflows for product onboarding and changes, reducing manual effort and errors. Understanding how clean product data drives business goals like faster "speed-to-market" or better customer experiences.
- Educational
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or engineering. Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory like in Product Management related areas and product management certification is a significant plus.
- 15+ years of experience out of which at least 5+ years of product management or product development or related technical product management experience in a technology-oriented organization.
