The role - what you'll do Barr is seeking a senior environmental engineer to join our Bismarck team. In this hybrid role, you will support the Assessment and Remediation business unit. Work assignments may include managing multidisciplinary teams; preparing technical work plans and reports; coordinating ASTM Phase I environmental site assessments; investigating contaminated soil, sediment, groundwater, and vapor intrusion; conducting remediation technology evaluations and feasibility studies; developing site management strategies, remedial design, and response action plans; and coordinating site remediation activities. Project responsibilities may also include preparing cost estimates and contracting for investigation activities; developing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets; conducting communications, meetings, and negotiations with clients and regulatory agency personnel; providing overall project management; and mentoring junior staff.
