Requirements

• This course is part of the second language teaching program and is designed to train future second language teachers.
• Required qualifications:
• Candidate must possess a doctorate (or be completing a doctorate) in Second Language Education.
• Academic and professional publications in the field of study over the past 5 years.
• Professional experience facilitating online courses and/or as a second language teacher (in Canada and/or abroad).
• Expertise in this field.
• Proven teaching effectiveness at the university level, as evidenced by recent course evaluations or equivalents.
• Experience in training (future) second language teachers is an asset.
• The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those set out above.
