We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader - Streetscape Maintenance to lead a small outdoor crew responsible for the upkeep and presentation of streetscapes and public open spaces across the City. Reporting to the Supervisor Streetscape Horticulture, this role oversees daily operations and ensures work is delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed performance standards. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and coordinating a small team undertaking streetscape and park maintenance activities Leading routine mowing operations, line trimming, edging, blower work and litter removal Ensuring the safe operation and basic maintenance of plant and equipment including ride-on and pedestrian mowers Conducting verge inspections and scheduling maintenance works accordingly Implementing traffic management requirements for all work activities Maintaining accurate daily records, including timesheets and work schedules (including electronic systems) Reporting hazards, defects and maintenance issues to the Supervisor Conducting regular toolbox meetings focused on safety, work practices and schedules Assisting with additional duties such as weed control, pruning, cleaning footpaths and relieving in other Parks and Streetscape roles as required This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality streetscapes that meet community expectations while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
