The Job: As a Plant Manager, you'll be part of our Stanley Engineered Fastening team overseeing our SAT Highland Heights, OH location as an on-site employee. You'll get to: Assume overall leadership of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Inventory and People (SQCDIP) for products and processes. Directly interact with all support functions including Commercial, Advanced Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, Security, HR, Finance, Engineering, and Supply chain to ensure increasing levels of customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of labor, materials, and machines. Support new product development plans by collaborating with the relevant product managers to improve product profiles, cost, standards, profits, and availability. Lead and manage policy deployment in the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, digital factory, and plant performance measures. Provide plant and team leadership through visioning, goals, expectations, performance management, coaching and communication, employee engagement, employee development, and employee relations. Provide leadership for root cause analysis and effective problem solving, yielding immediate and long-term corrective actions and sustainable enhancements (Quality, Warranty, Continuous Improvement, Productivity, and overall operations). Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations (e.g. OSHA), as well as all company policies and standards, including cost control, human resources, on-time delivery, quality, safety, and waste reduction. Manage material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand. Lead the Purchasing & Materials Management team to drive OTIF, WCT-DSI and overall corporate expectations. Support the development of an accurate annual budget, effectively manage the budget, and provide analysis for forecasting changes. Support the S&OP/IBP process through effectively monitoring demand forecast and comparing/converting it into supply forecast factoring in head/tail winds for labor, material, and machines. Effectively plan for, budget for, and manage operations headcount needs driving strong labor efficiencies. Identify, justify, communicate, and drive implementation of capital investments and improvement projects. Balance work cell loading across the plant and leverage strong material flow optimization opportunities. Continually benchmark and drive effective application of best practices and upskilling of our associates. Embrace the corporation's values supporting DE&I and Sustainability. You also have: Minimum of ten (10) years of related progressive manufacturing operations Bachelor's degree in operations, engineering or related field/experience and an MBA is prefered. Site P&L responsibility experience multi-site leadership experience in a multi shift environment, managing multiple business functions. Certification in Lean or Six Sigma a plus. Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015, AS9100, and IATF. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with proficiency in the following areas: Creating a Safety Culture.
