Responsibilities

  •  Owns preventative and breakdown maintenance operations for production equipment such that performances meet or exceed baseline capabilities.

  •  Collaborates with other departments to forecast and plan for maintenance needs and upgrades.  Utilize data and helps optimize data gathering systems to accurately depict issues on equipment.
  •  Use processes such as DMAIC, Lean, and Six Sigma to identify, root cause, and drive a continuous improvement culture to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
  •  Manages equipment and safety inspections, and generates emergency, corrective, and/or preventative work orders as needed.
  •  Support equipment and facility upgrades with both hands-on support and allocation of managed resources.
  •  Drive continuous improvement of safety programs, maintenance programs, troubleshooting process, and machine performance.
  •  Ensure spare inventory for all equipment is sufficient for production requirements.
  •  Participate as a member of the Safety Committee. Own select/assigned safety programs and take an active role in ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, accident prevention, accident investigation, safety training, and compliance with environmental rules and regulations.
