About the role

Serves as the Traffic Management Coordinator at a level 12 Federal Aviation Administration radar approach control facility. Regulates the number of aircraft that can be accepted within a terminal area and restricts altitudes and/or routes to be flown a specific period of time. Basic qualifications for Traffic Management Coordinator (TMC) positions in the terminal and en route options: Specialized Experience Required for TMC Positions: Must have been facility rated or area certified in a CPC/TMC/S at an ATO terminal/en route facility. Rating and Evaluation Factors: In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, candidates will be rated in accordance with the instructions on FAA Form 3330-43-1 (dated 6/00), Rating of Air Traffic Experience for AT Movement.
