Responsibilities
- Market & strategy support: Contribute to market assessments on South-East Europe wholesale power, emerging technologies (e.g., renewables, storage, PtX/clean molecules) and business models to inform corporate or investment strategies.
- Quantitative analysis & modelling: Build and maintain datasets and simple models to assess market fundamentals, asset revenues and commercial performance (e.g., renewables and flexible resources such as batteries, pumped storage and demand response).

- Your skills and experience
- A well-rounded candidate should demonstrate a balance of strengths across these key areas:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience: Internships or up to 1 years experience in energy, consulting, finance, data analytics or a related area.
- Analytical skills: Strong problem solving and quantitative capability; proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with Python/R/SQL/Power BI is a plus.
- Energy market interest: Understanding (or strong motivation to learn) the fundamentals of South East European wholesale electricity markets, market design, regulation and commercial structures. Knowledge of Romanian, Hungarian or Greek energy markets will be considered a strong advantage
- Domain exposure: Interest or initial experience in valuation of renewables and storage, routes to market, and flexible resources (batteries, pumped storage, DSR).
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication, able to translate analysis into concise narratives and slides for clients.
- Ways of working: Organized, proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in small, blended teams.
