Junior Financial Analyst -- W2 ONLY

About the role

Our client is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to support substation programs. As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will assist in the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial data and reports. Responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Conducting financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. - Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. - Analyzing financial performance and trends to identify areas for improvement. - Preparing presentations and reports for management and stakeholders. - Assisting with financial audits and compliance activities. - Conducting research and analysis on industry trends and competitors. - Providing support to senior financial analysts and managers as needed. - Maintaining and updating financial databases and systems. - Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and support cross-functional projects. Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business administration. - 1-5 years of experience with forecasting project financials, budgeting, MS Excel, data analysis, and reporting. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to analyze large data sets. - Eagerness to learn.

Title: Location: Terms of Employment - W2 Contract, 12 months - This position is hybrid with Tuesday-Thursday in office. - The office is located in Newark, DE
