About the role
The Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Section Secretary. Working in the Spanish & Portuguese, and German Sections, within the broader Undergraduate Administration team, the post provides efficient administrative and secretarial support to facilitate the smooth running of the Faculty's undergraduate teaching and examining operations, as well as providing cover in the Faculty Office (reception) and support for events, meetings and other ad hoc duties as required. The successful candidate will be a well-organised and adaptable team player with a commitment to providing a high-quality service to students, staff and other stakeholders. You will be skilled at managing competing priorities and be able to move between tasks at short notice to meet deadlines. You will work collaboratively within your immediate team, and across Faculty and School services, sharing best practice and facilitating continuous improvement.
