About the role
ZT Systems is seeking a highly experienced Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead a team responsible for the design and development of advanced server solutions. - What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical and structural design, with a focus on electro-mechanical systems.
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, especially in data center environments.
- Expertise in thermal management, structural design, vibration control, and high-volume manufacturing techniques (e.g., sheet metal, injection molding).
- Strong grasp of the interplay between mechanical, electrical, thermal, power, firmware, and networking systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Pro-E/Creo, AutoCAD), FEA, and thermal simulation tools (Flotherm, Ansys preferred).
- Ability to work independently and report progress effectively in a fast-paced environment.
