About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sales Representative to join our team in Orange, TX or Pasadena, TX . In this role, you will work closely with senior sales leaders to support account management, drive new business development, and ensure a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities
- Support senior sales representatives in managing and growing assigned customer accounts
- Conduct customer visits alongside senior team members to build relationships and gain field experience
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, site visits, and customer engagement
- Support preparation of quotes and proposals, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
- Participate in project-related communications, including status updates and coordination with customers, operations, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain and update sales pipeline and customer activities in D365 and Salesforce
- Help coordinate customer visits, facility tours, and test runs (e.g., TDI, inspections)
- Collaborate with inside sales and operations to support order processing, delivery timelines, and customer expectations
- Attend sales meetings, production/WIP meetings, and contribute to action tracking and follow-ups
- Ideal Background and Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in an inside sales or support role, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- You have a working knowledge of electromechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, generators, or industrial repair services.
- A degree is preferred but not required; we value hands-on experience and aptitude.
- You are as comfortable explaining technical solutions over the phone as you are planning to eventually present them in person.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to visit client sites, attend trade events, or shadow field sales representatives.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle to visit customer locations as needed.
