Academic Advisor - Medical Education

Responsibilities

• Assess individual students' study skills, identify appropriate resources and make appropriate referrals for students perceived to be at risk
• Assist students in the development of individualized educational plans
• Maintain appropriate administrative documents
• Develop and promote internal communication and resource sharing in order to promote student success
• Track the collective needs of students
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement for all services related to academic advising
• Integrate best practices and technology aimed at improving student services
