Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, review and coordinate mechanical systems for building and infrastructure projects, including ACMV, plumbing, sanitary and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, consultants and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Ensure designs comply with Singapore codes, regulations and project requirements.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support throughout design and construction stages.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters.
• Monitor project progress, resolve engineering issues and ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise installation works where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building construction or structural engineering projects.
• Familiar with Singapore codes and standards related to mechanical systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
