Accounting Specialist (Bank, AR/AP & FX Reconciliation)@Flip We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. What you'll have to do: As part of our Finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and smooth accounting operations: Record and reconcile bank statements and intermediary accounts related to payments and collections; Allocate incoming and outgoing payments to the correct supplier and customer accounts; Perform customer reconciliations and aging analysis, monitor overdue balances, and support collections processes; Support reconciliation activities across suppliers, customers, and payment processors, ensuring consistency and accuracy of accounting records; Prepare BNR statistical reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements; Perform foreign currency revaluation of balance sheet accounts; Analyze and reconcile FX gains and losses accounts (665 and 765); Support month-end closing activities related to bank, AR, and AP accounts; Contribute to reconciliation processes across operational accounts and ensure data accuracy across accounting flows; Support continuous improvement of accounting and reconciliation processes. What makes you a good fit: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in AP/AR, banking operations, or general ledger roles; Good understanding of bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable processes, FX accounting, and transactional accounting flows; Experience with customer aging analysis and payment allocation processes; Knowledge of BNR statistical reporting is an advantage; Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar); Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work with high transaction volumes; Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
