About the role
In this role you will be responsible for managing and leading a team in Trim/Final Process, developing operational plans or new processes, in support of the organization's business strategies with a direct impact on the organization's overall business results. Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications) 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a plant environment 3+ years of people leadership experience Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, effective project planning in terms of resources, strategies, cost, and time, with ability to meet project timelines High level of analytical ability where problems are complex Knowledge of work measurement and work standards Knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area required Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals required Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project Coordinates input from internal/external customers to better understand customer needs and/or perceptions Keeps abreast of current product developments and trends in areas of expertise Actively identifies new areas for learning and takes advantage of learning opportunities What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Prior experience with production manufacturing office and floor assignments Multi plant and/or multi-functional experience Experience/knowledge of GM Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
