Position Overview: We're looking for an Imports Analyst (contract) who will be responsible for supporting the supply planning team and delivering forecast accuracy targets through successful utilization and continuous improvement of demand planning tools, processes, and collaboration with our Commercial teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support regional and channel demand plans with the Sales and Marketing teams to have the best forecast in the system.
  • Lead the West Replenishment, by reviewing requirements for each board and putting POs in JDE
  • Support the West PO Tracker, updating ETA for deliveries, Open and Closed order, vessel information and others
  • Update West Low Stock Report, creating and maintaining a report to support OOS analysis and reporting to the corresponding Sales Team of the risk being seen by the planner
  • Update Bi-weekly inventory discussion, similar to the above, but with a more long-term focus to adjust possible POs, forecast and promos
  • Modernize Daily Receiving POs, by checking what volumes arrived at each warehouse and closing the tracker in JDE with Finance
  • Support Supply Planning with weekly reports, showing warehouse inventory and future productions
  • Building tools to improve efficiency and provide views into business planning opportunities and challenges
  • Other roles as assigned.
  • Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve, multi-task and react to changing priorities
  • Possess a "can-do" attitude and ownership for internal processes
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, tight timelines and fast paced environment
  • Ability to work remotely and autonomously
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Power Point
  • At least one year in demand or supply planning
  • Strong knowledge of ERP tools sets (J.D. Edwards an asset)
  • Proven technical skills in Demand Planning Software (JDA an asset)
