Requirements What You'll Do Develop strategic media recommendations for brands-from small to large companies-across a variety of verticals ● Build client-facing sales decks and media proposals, including channel rationale, audience strategy, budget allocation, and measurement frameworks ● Create and manage IOs, ensuring accuracy across specs, budgeting, flighting, and deliverables ● Partner with in-platform channel specialists (Paid Social, Google Ads, Programmatic) to translate strategy into scalable tactical plans ● Support CPG/Retail Media planning (Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, Instacart, Target Roundel) as needed/when applicable ● Gather and synthesize audience, competitor, industry, and market insights, leveraging tools such as GWI, Dstillery, and Pathmatics ● Apply up-to-date media trends and best practices (privacy changes, platform shifts, creative trends, measurement evolution) to proposals ● Support proposal development across a wide range of budgets ($5K-$250K+ per month) and objectives (awareness through performance) ● Contribute to measurement and reporting thinking, including KPI selection, test design, and learning agendas ● Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure decks are visually polished, on-brand, and persuasive ● Maintain internal documentation, templates, and operational workflows to improve team efficiency ● Provide optimization recommendations to existing clients using learnings from campaign performance Required Qualifications ● Bachelor's degree (required) 3+ years of experience in advertising/media (agency experience required) ● Proven experience building advertising strategies and media plans mainly for B2C clients across different company sizes ● Experience working with IOs and/or media buying documentation workflows ● Experience managing recommendations for varied budgets ($5K-$100K+ monthly) with clear rationale on allocation, phasing, and expected outcomes ● Strong research capabilities: able to pull, interpret, and synthesize audience/competitive insights using tools like GWI, Dstillery, Bombora, Pathmatics, etc. ● Deck-building and storytelling expertise (structure, narrative flow, visuals, and executive-level clarity) ● Comfort with basic data analysis (pulling insights from performance data, identifying trends, sanity-checking metrics) ● Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); strong Excel fundamentals a plus Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience with retail media / CPG ecosystems: Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, Instacart, Target Roundel ● Hands-on knowledge of: o Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, etc.) o Google Advertising Suite (Google Ads, YouTube, Search, Demand Gen/PMax) o Programmatic media fundamentals (targeting, inventory, measurement, optimization) ● Familiarity with additional tools such as SimilarWeb, Placer.ai , GA4, Looker/BI dashboards ● Understanding of incrementality, lift testing, attribution, and measurement limitations in a privacy-first landscape What Success Looks Like You consistently produce high-quality, client-ready decks that clearly connect insights → strategy → channel plan → measurement ● You can own sections of proposals end-to-end, partnering smoothly with platform specialists and design ● You bring proactive, structured thinking-identifying opportunities, anticipating questions, and elevating narrative quality ● You help the team operate faster and smarter through organization, QA, and improved workflows Skills That Matter Here Strategic thinking + strong attention to detail ● Clear communication and executive-ready writing ● Strong design sensibility and visual judgment (clean slides, sharp hierarchy) ● Confidence working across multiple industries and ambiguity ● Collaborative, deadline-driven, and solutions-oriented mindset Originally posted on Himalayas
