Assistant Manager, Regional Human Capital Management Job Purpose The Assistant Manager, Regional Human Capital Management (HCM), plays a critical role in supporting and driving regional HR initiatives across Company Group subsidiaries in Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO). Working in close partnership with the Senior Manager, HCM, this role contributes to the development and implementation of strategic HR frameworks, strengthens regional HR operations, and supports the delivery of key talent management programmes. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting day-to-day regional HR activities, leading cross-subsidiary initiatives, ensuring robust HR data governance, and providing guidance to regional HR focal points to promote alignment and operational excellence across the region. The ideal candidate is a proactive and analytical HR professional with strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities, demonstrating the ability to drive continuous improvement and contribute effectively to regional HR excellence. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Regional HR Operations & Process Optimization (30%) - Coordinate and facilitate quarterly Regional HR focal point meetings, including agenda preparation, logistics, and documentation of key outcomes. - Maintain and enhance regional HR communication channels and contact databases to ensure effective information flow. - Provide high-level administrative and project support to the HCM team, including complex scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and handling of sensitive communications. - Act as the primary liaison for Regional HR focal points, providing operational guidance and resolving escalated matters. - Drive the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of regional HR processes, templates, and workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency. 2. Strategic Data Management & Analytics (20%) - Lead the consolidation and validation of regional HR data, including headcount reporting, organizational structures, and key HR metrics. - Manage and optimize HR data systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. - Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights on trends and workforce analytics. - Responsible 1st draft of compensation and benefits initiatives, including benchmarking (with a focus on Singapore) and ongoing review of salary structures and reward strategies. - Provide data-driven insights and analytical support to support business decision-making and continuous process improvement. 3. Regional HR Initiatives & Project Management (30%) - Lead and execute regional HR initiatives aligned with the HCM strategic roadmap. - Coordinate and manage participation in regional talent development programmes, including tracking progress and outcomes. - Oversee planning and execution of regional training programmes, including logistics, monitoring, and risk management. - Drive post-programme evaluation, feedback collection, and sharing of best practices across subsidiaries. - Support succession planning initiatives through data consolidation and talent insights. - Facilitate knowledge-sharing and capability-building initiatives for Regional HR focal points. - Support the optimization and adoption of HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Udemy) across the region. - Any other ad-hoc may assign by Direct Superior/ Management. 4. Performance Management & Employee Relations (10%) - Support the implementation of performance management frameworks to enhance organizational effectiveness. - Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes. - Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture across the region. 5. Compliance, Governance & Policy Development (10%) - Develop and maintain regional HR policies and procedures in alignment with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements. - Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR governance standards across all SEAO jurisdictions. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR governance documentation and frameworks. Job Requirements Required Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Minimum 5-8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a regional or multinational organization. - Proven experience in full-spectrum HR operations and regional coordination. - Strong analytical capabilities with solid experience in data management and reporting. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint. - Working knowledge of HR compliance requirements and employment regulations. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels. - Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy. - Demonstrated ability t
