The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and modifying mechanical assemblies according to Drawings, 3D-Models and Bill of Materials (BOM). This individual should be detailed orientated, able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment under minimal supervision to complete tasks. Assemble mechanical assemblies, accurately, safely, and efficiently, per the bill of materials and assembly drawings with proper hand and power tools in the proper sequence utilizing "best practice" methods. Interact and provide feedback to other departments such as (Fabrication, engineering etc.) Supports a continuous improvement environment. Basic Requirements Technical degree or a minimum of 1 year' work experience with mechanical assembly in a production environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints Proficient in the use of Various Hand and Power tools Self-motivated with strong mechanical aptitude, detail oriented. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (above 50 lbs. with assistance) and work in any position for an extended period. Ability to work with moving parts and mechanical hazards.
