Responsibilities
- The Radiographer will:
- Provide a fully comprehensive service supporting our Radiology department, consultants and partners
- Obtain and maintain a high level of competency to meet National Standards.
- Actively encourage collaborative working relationships with the administration teams to ensure radiology reports are processed quickly and efficiently.
- Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, IRMER (2017) & IRR17, MHRA and all other such relevant regulations and guidelines as appropriate to the delivery of independent sector imaging services
- Act as an operator under the IRMER Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justifications of referrals to ensure that the benefit to the patient outweighs the radiation risk

Would you like a good work life balance? We have an exciting opportunity for a strong and empathetic Radiographer to join our Imaging team as a Bank employee. This role is ideal for someone who has excellent listening skills in order build an affinity with patients in a short space of time and the knowledge of the service to be able to give advice when necessary. This a bank role and is therefore a zero hours contract working flexibly to cover holiday, absence and fluctuating hospital volumes. The department working hours are Monday-Friday, 8.00am - 8.00pm with occasional weekend working.
