Tessera is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager for the West Sound Base Operating Services Contract (WSBOSC). The Fleet Manager is responsible for managing the vehicles and equipment to include: industrial machinery, passenger and heavy industrial vehicles, High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs), Lenco Bearcat armored vehicles, Fire and Emergency Services vehicles, cranes and weight handling equipment, and material handling equipment. This role manages fleet maintenance, scheduling, and compliance with safety protocols while ensuring contract requirements are met, and vehicles remain fully mission ready. Productivity, workplace safety, customer satisfaction, and the team's success is dependent on the leadership team position's efforts. The success of this position will draw from Tessera's leadership competencies: Mission and Values: Safety Leadership; Operations Excellence; Customer Service; and Servant Leadership. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Developing and overseeing comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, scheduling routine servicing, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan. This includes utilizing the appropriate technical manuals and diagnostic tools for maintenance schedules and procedures . Understanding priorities for each equipment type set forth in the contract and prioritizing resources to ensure compliance. Analyzing fleet performance data, reporting to upper management on fleet status, and making recommendations for improvement. Conduct recurring meetings with customers to report fleet status and communicate repairs that are outside of specified timeframes and contract liabilities .
