About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanic to assemble and integrate mechatronic modules into complete machines. You will ensure machines are built to specification, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and support continuous improvement in our assembly processes. This is a hands-on, technical role with a focus on quality, precision, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components into complete machines using 3D CAD and digital work instructions.
  • Perform modifications and adjustments on machines and modules, ensuring precise operation.
  • Check parts and subassemblies for completeness and compliance with work instructions.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest ways to optimize assembly techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace following 5S standards and QHSE requirements.
  • Document work accurately and report issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in mechanical, electrical, assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret 3D CAD models and digital work instructions.
  • Proficient with hand tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with assembly sequences, quality control, and production administration.
  • Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Fluent i n Dutch written & spoken or English written & Spoken .
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Exposure to complex mechatronic machinery in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to train or mentor junior team members.
  • Knowledge of digital measuring tools or advanced assembly software.
  • Hands-on experience assisting R&D with prototype testing or modifications.
