This position will be scheduled for 23 hours a week and is eligible for benefits. This position will mornings , Monday-Friday, 7:30am-12:00pm. This role may need to work additional hours as needed. Essential Functions: Warmly greets patients and gu est , announces arrival to staff member . Offers guests (here for meetings) a beverage. Sorts incoming US mail and courier packages. Sorts and prepares items for outgoing courier , US mail. Accepts packets and notifies staff of arrival. Maintains safe clean entry way to receiving area (supply room). Maintains a clean reception area ( discards previous day's newspaper, turns on/off lamps at the beginning and end of the day). Provides minimal administrative support to designated departments. Submits work orders for copier and building maintenance. Manages projector reservations. Assists with meeting set-up (beverages, projector, etc.). Assists with overflow clinical work. Copying, faxing, prepare mailings, etc. Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently and use discretion to make decisions. Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation to type from draft copy, review and edit reports and correspondences. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, intranet and Internet usage, telephone usage, voice mail and e-mail, photocopy and fax equipment. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs, such as bar graphs. Knowledge of basic math to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures and make changes accurately. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
