Portfolio Governance & Intake Lead governance of the IT project intake process, ensuring initiatives entering the portfolio are evaluated for strategic alignment, business value, feasibility, and resource capacity. Facilitate portfolio stage gate reviews to ensure initiatives meet defined criteria before progressing through planning, execution, and deployment phases. Partner with IT leadership to support prioritization decisions and portfolio roadmap alignment. Ensure transparency of technology initiatives through standardized portfolio reporting and governance reviews. Develop and maintain standardized reporting on portfolio health, governance outcomes, and delivery metrics. IT Financial Governance (Capital & Operating Expense) Partner with IT leadership, Finance, and the Capital Committee to administer governance processes related to IT capital investments and operating expenditures. Monitor portfolio financial performance including budget adherence and forecast accuracy. Provide consolidated reporting on spend across programs and operational initiatives. Facilitate governance reviews related to budget changes, funding approvals, and financial variance management. Change Control Board Governance Lead the operational governance of the IT Change Control Board (CCB). Facilitate cross-functional review and approval of significant change requests. Release Management Governance Establish governance for enterprise technology release management. Coordinate release calendars across major systems and programs to minimize operational risk and system conflicts. Ensure release readiness standards and communication protocols are consistently applied. Technical Training & Adoption Enablement Oversee the development and delivery of technical training programs supporting new systems, platforms, and operational capabilities. Lead the creation and maintenance of technical training materials, user guides, and documentation. Coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure training aligns with operational workflows. Partner with program and project leaders to ensure adoption planning, communications, and stakeholder readiness activities are integrated into project delivery. Lead and develop a team supporting governance operations, training enablement, and financial & portfolio administration. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across governance processes. Lead major programs as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Deep understanding of IT portfolio governance, project delivery frameworks, and organizational change management practices. Strong facilitation skills for executive governance forums and decision-making processes. Ability to translate complex technical initiatives into clear governance frameworks and operational processes. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Exceptional communication and organizational leadership skills. EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred): Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. MBA preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 10 years experience in IT program, portfolio, or governance leadership Experience in portfolio governance, PMO leadership, or enterprise delivery oversight Healthcare industry experience preferred CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) Prosci Change Management SAFe or Agile certification #LI-PM1 Pay Range: 123,880.00 - 183,376.00 USD annually This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role.
