Job duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area; greet and welcome clients and patients; answer questions and triage client concerns; respond to calls and emails and direct them to the appropriate party for resolution; schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow; check clients in and out; and process payments. Our receptionists provide friendly, compassionate, and discreet support to clients during difficult times and must be comfortable with a variety of medical outcomes. This position will also be cross-trained as a Veterinary Assistant , providing opportunities to support the medical team with patient care, restraint, treatment assistance, and other clinical responsibilities as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in expanding their skills and gaining hands-on experience in veterinary medicine. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.
