What You'll Do as a Product Technologist In your role, you'll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here's a flavour of your day-to-day: Deliver high-quality, safe, and compliant products by applying strong technical expertise and adhering to Primark quality standards and best practices. Lead quality evaluation and approval processes (including risk assessment, Black Seal and Gold Seal), ensuring all products meet required standards. Monitor returns, customer feedback, and testing data to identify risks, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. Partner with suppliers, buying teams, and compliance functions to address quality challenges, improve performance, and drive cost and process efficiencies. Conduct competitor benchmarking and stay informed on trends, innovations, and regulatory requirements to enhance product quality and performance. Support supplier performance management through reporting, inspections, and engagement with sourcing and ethical teams. Communicate effectively across stakeholders, influencing decision-making, supporting training initiatives, and representing Quality Assurance in meetings and strategic discussions.
