About the role

The NYC Department of Design & Construction, Division of Public Buildings, seeks a Design Reviewer (Electrical). The selected candidate will perform a comprehensive review of design and/or constructability documents from consultant engineering services and In-house design for DDC's capital construction program. The Design Reviewer will be responsible for: project scoping, design and/or constructability review of consultant drawings and specifications (utilizing Blue-Beam), site inspections and reports, ad hoc technical investigations; condition surveys; in-house design (utilizing AutoCAD and BIM), lighting calculations and providing technical expertise and support services for client-agency projects. The candidate will interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and technical staff. Please note: All candidates must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States (U.S.).
