Drone Operator (Contract)

About the role

📍 Location: Nearest MRT, (One North) 🕒 Working Hours: Monday - Friday : 8.30am - 6.00pm 💰 Salary: Up to $3,000/month 🗓 Start Date: Immediate 📅 Duration: 12-month contract We are looking for a CAAS-licensed Drone Pilot to support the organisation in port inspections and incident response. You will fly drones to assist Port Inspectors, ensure flight safety, and conduct competency assessments for other operators.

Responsibilities

• Operate drones for maritime inspections and data collection
• Serve as Safety Officer during drone flights
• Conduct drone competency assessments
• Support incident response using drone technology
• Ensure all operations comply with CAAS regulations and safety protocols
• Key Requirements:
• CAAS UAPL (Rotorcraft) Certified - Mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience in drone operations; maritime or inspection background is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of drone safety, operational risk management , and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong communicator with ability to coordinate effectively across departments and stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, especially in high-stakes or emergency scenarios.
• Willingness to work onboard vessels and handle shift work, weekends, or public holidays if required.
