Responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day operations of retirement plans, including 401(k) and pension programs
  • Process employee contributions, loan requests, distributions, and rollovers accurately and timely

  • Generate reports and provide data analysis on plan performance and participation trends

Requirements

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required
  • 2-5 years of experience in retirement plan administration, benefits operations, payroll, or financial services
  • Experience working with 401(k) plans and recordkeeping systems
  • Exposure to payroll systems and integrations preferred
  • Experience with audits or compliance processes is a plus
  • Certifications (Preferred)
  • Certified Retirement Plan Professional (CRPP)
  • Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA)
  • CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) (a plus)
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (data analysis, reconciliation, pivot tables)
  • Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG)
  • Familiarity with retirement plan recordkeeping platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Vanguard, Empower)
  • Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations
  • Strong data reconciliation and auditing skills
