Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential and inpatient milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance. Schedule: Part-time, 0.4 FTE (16hours/week) 3rd shift, 10p-6:30a Rotating weekends and holidays required Compensation Disclosure: BHT I: Starting hourly range between $18.00-22.00 Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position How Behavior Health Technicians Empower Recovery: Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise. Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks
