POSITION SUMMARY : The Infusion Technician is responsible for the proper glass thickness and glass-to-resin ratio on infused: small parts, lids, consoles, finders, stringers, decks, and hulls. The technician is also responsible for ensuring the quality of the finished part and providing leadership for the crew. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Distributes properly catalyzed resin evenly into injection ports. Helps train new team members as well as helping all team members stay focused and motivated. Ensures the crew starts up on time at the beginning of the shift. Observes and adjusts the catalyst level as environmental conditions require. Performs daily cleaning and minor maintenance routines of equipment, spray guns, and bags. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Ability to work as a Team Ability to read and follow written Instruction Ability to troubleshoot Coordination simultaneously Ability to distinguish basic colors/shades Hearing (aid permitted) Must have no fiberglass allergies TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: N/A PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Light lifting, under 20 lbs. Light carrying, under 20 lbs. Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs. Moderate carrying, 21 - 59 lbs.
