Manufacturing Test Technician, Amazon Leo

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings
• Experience with environmental testing - vibration, shock, thermal, EMI/EMC, etc.
• Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license
• CFOT certification or equivalent experience
• Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience
• ASE certification or equivalent experience
• Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
• Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
• Experience working with Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, Fiber Optics/Optical and/or Harness Integration
• Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment

• The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select.
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift time: Shift times is Wed-Sat, 2nd shift, 4x10's 4pm-2:30am
• Flexible working/commuting in between site locations
• Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
• Able to lift-up to 25lbs. unassisted

Key job responsibilities - Follow work instructions and safety procedures - Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds - Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory - You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables - Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance - Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations - Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated - Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems - Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc) - Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures Additional Requirements: - Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.
