St Andrew's Nursing Home (Taman Jurong) An established 290-bed facility at Taman Jurong, we seek to provide long-term support, care and rehabilitation to the under-served and disadvantaged of the community at large, regardless of race or religion. Job Responsibilities Work closely with the resident's doctor and multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents; updates on changes in the residents' condition and needs. Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan. Work with allied health professionals and/or initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Carry out and supervise assessments of all new admissions. Prepare clinical documentation and ensure all documentations are current. Prepare and administer medications to residents and comply with safe medication practices. Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practice. Participate in training and development of staff. Work with Supervisor to conduct quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care. Deal with emergency that arises and ensure prompt actions to mitigate the situation. Escalate promptly to supervisor, where necessary. Job Requirements Minimum Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Nursing. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team. Proficiency in MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point and other Healthcare system Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and passion for serving the elderly patients. Able to work cohesively with colleagues from all disciplines Able to work 3 rotating shifts including weekend duties and public holidays (for in-patient wards) PROFESSIONAL LICENCE Must be Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted for the position within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting
