Job purpose We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our growing PHINIA MFG team as a Machining Specialist. This position will support us in MFG function and reports to

Responsibilities

• Strive for performance excellence through establishing efficient ma chining process flow .
• Coach team to arrange the process flow and steps for machining parts .
• Ensure compliance with policies/procedures and government/industry regulations within the plant.
• Improve the efficiency of machining spare parts and meet the requirements for stable spare parts accuracy .
• Accomplish tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Make safety and Energy the most important criteria in the working area and for the individual.
• Independently complete CNC programming (manual programming or CAM software programming, such as Mastercam, UG/NX, PowerMill, etc.) based on drawings, 3D models, and process requirements.
• Responsible for the entire process of parts processing, including tool selection, fixture design, processing parameter setting, first piece debugging, process control, and quality self inspection.
• Operate CNC machine tools (such as vertical/horizontal machining centers, CNC lathes, etc.) to complete the trial production and mass production of complex or high-precision parts.
• Optimize machining programs and paths, improve machining efficiency, reduce tool wear, and ensure surface quality and dimensional accuracy.

Requirements

• Technical secondary school/high school diploma or above, major in mechanical engineering, numerical control, mold and other related fields.
• More than 3 years of experience in CNC programming and operation, able to independently complete the entire process of "programming - debugging - machining".
