For our business, for clients, and for you Senior HR Business Partner **Please submit your English CV upon applying** Job Summary: Apex Group is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner for Brazil. The role is expected to operate at a strategic and tactical leadership level, ensuring outcomes are delivered through appropriate teams, processes, and partnerships, rather than direct operational execution. The successful candidate will work independently, whilst contributing to a larger global HR team. The role requires a high level of autonomy, decision making, managing, and coaching abilities and strong experience in a similar role. The Role & Key Responsibilities: Partner with senior business leaders on strategic HR topics, including organizational design, restructuring, and complex employee relations matters, providing clear, pragmatic guidance aligned to business objectives. Lead the regional delivery of the people strategy, ensuring consistent execution of key employee lifecycle activities (e.g., compensation reviews, performance cycles) through effective coordination across HR teams. Act as a trusted advisor on workforce and talent strategy, working in partnership with Talent Acquisition to shape hiring plans, and driving succession planning and talent development initiatives. Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring alignment between business transformation priorities and people outcomes. Drive M&A-related people initiatives, ensuring smooth and structured integration aligned with business strategy and operating models. Maintain strong knowledge of employment and regulatory requirements relevant to the fund administration and fiduciary business in Brazil, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and reporting obligations. Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and processes, ensuring alignment with local legislation and Group standards. Provide high-quality advisory support to senior stakeholders on people and culture topics, enabling effective decision-making and execution. Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, separations, redundancies, and legal cases, with sound judgment and risk awareness. Work in close alignment with the Regional Head of HR to ensure consistency of approach, share best practices, and support broader regional priorities. Collaborate with local and global HR teams to contribute to regional and global initiatives, ensuring effective localization and execution. Lead, coach, and develop HR team members, ensuring clear delegation, capability building, and delivery through the team. Drive delivery through structured workstreams, ensuring clear ownership, follow-through, and measurable outcomes without direct reliance on individual operational execution. Support and lead ad hoc initiatives as required to meet evolving business needs. Skills Required: Strong ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership Demonstrated experience influencing decisions on structure, talent, and performance Ability to translate business priorities into a focused HR agenda Proven ability to structure complex workstreams and drive delivery through clear ownership models Strong capability in delegation, follow‑through, and ensuring execution through team and vendors, while managing end‑to‑end accountability Strong judgment in defining and communicating ownership boundaries across HR, business, and support teams Quick learner, capable of multi-tasking Education and Experience: Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed Minimum of 6 years of experience Locally relevant HR Professional Membership credentials would be a plus Significant experience gained in a similar role and industry Solid knowledge of employee relations processes and relevant employment legislation.
