Responsibilities

  • Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) safely and in compliance with all relevant traffic laws and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.

  • Job Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no Dangerous Driving (DD) or Drink Driving (DR) endorsements.
  • Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) / CPC.
  • Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably within a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of driving regulations, tachograph rules, and road safety procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and prolonged driving.
  • A strong commitment to safety and customer service
  • Preferably: references from previous employers
  • Right to Work

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable HGV Driver to transport goods efficiently and safely across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to all road safety regulations. The role is based on any 4 shifts from 7 , primarily between Monday and Friday, with some flexibility required for weekend coverage when needed. Shift start times are typically between 01:00am and 06:00am .
