About the role
The Speech Language Pathologist will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. The speech language pathologist will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. The speech language pathologist assesses and implements direct service for patients for the following: feeding, swallowing, and hearing impairments; cognitive impairments, congenital disorders; developmental disorders/delay; neurological impairments; voice disorders; language disorders/delay; articulation deficits; respiratory impairments; and fluency disorders. Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech/language pathology.
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment required.
- State license or eligible for state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology.
