Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage a specific Finance Division ensuring optimal performance and compliance with Divisional Finance guidelines. This role involves leading the accounting compliance activities, engaging with external stakeholders to influence financial reporting, and contributing to the achievement of Group finance objectives. Job Description Summary This role will have a particular focus on Non-Insurance Accounting tasks within the division scope of the team, including, but not limited to: [1] supervision and approval of low to medium complexity tasks completed by analysts, and [2] processing / preparation of medium to high complexity journals, reports, reconciliations and other period-end tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Job Description Approval of low to medium complexity Non-Insurance Accounting calculations and/or expense recharges, FX, ICO and investment journals. Preparation of medium to high complexity Non-Insurance Accounting journals, which include those requiring sound estimates / judgments. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, with particular focus on high complexity items, including detailed investigations, monitoring of aged / unusual reconciliation items, and clearing of required adjustments. Respond to queries related to business units handled or assigned tasks, with minimal supervision from the team leader. Ensure the services are delivered per SLA and maintain quality of work. Provide technical guidance and coaching to analysts within the assigned sub-team and supervise their deliverables. Contribute major initiatives to streamline, automate or improve processes, systems and approaches with adequate support. The above responsibilities do not limit the assignment of work.
