Job Description Summary As Sourcing New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager, you will be a key contributor to the successful launch of new programs, being a key player of the cross-functional team and reporting to the Program Leadership Organization throughout the NPI Phase and Gate process. The Sourcing NPI Manager has a wide range of responsibilities focused on coordinating Sourcing Commodities and external suppliers to support New Products and Technologies launch in terms of supply chain creation and technological development, capabilities, capacity and risk management, following the Avio Aero core tenets: safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC). Key for the success in the role is the development of a strategical vision, and the ability to tactically execute your priorities. The Sourcing NPI Manager will rely on its resilience and learning agility to solve complex problems, develop and execute tasks, leveraging on the principles and tools of the FLIGHT DECK. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Definition of the Sourcing Strategy by following the principle of the risk management; Identifications of key suppliers/partners and definition of strategical actions to win together; Definition of strategical actions to expand program margin; Developing of a best-in-class supply chain to deliver innovative products, processes and technologies; Tactical execution of defined strategy in terms of safety, quality, delivery and cost, in alignment with the PMO and customer needs; Definition of Sourcing KPIs and reporting to the Executive Leadership team; Purchase orders management and negotiations to achieve cost target; Identification of priorities in-line with the program team; Support and monitor Suppliers to meet schedule and to achieve technical requirements in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality; Coordinate the supplier's production readiness; Support engineering team in design concurrence with suppliers Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering Experience in sourcing/procurement/purchasing context Knowledge of NPI process, from bidding phase with Customer to Production's volume ramp up Fluent in English Strong written and verbal communication skills Critical thinking, problem solving, successfully led projects/process improvements within operations functions Knowledge and passion for the aerospace business Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Strong ability to build relationship with suppliers and with internal team Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
