About the role

As a Youth Program Support Worker, you will help facilitate activities both in-centre and out in the community. You'll play a key role in making programs fun, engaging, and meaningful while supporting participants to build independence and confidence. Responsibilities include: Facilitating group activities and community outings Supporting young people to build social skills and independence Encouraging participation and confidence in new experiences Providing 1:1 or small group support Assisting with personal care where required Following individual support plans and behaviour support strategies Recording participant progress and collaborating with the wider support team Every day is different, from running activities and exploring the community to helping participants develop life skills and friendships. What Your Week Looks Like Youth programs run Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Programs take place across the region, with a strong focus on our Central Coast clients. You'll support a mix of on-site activities and community-based programs, helping young people stay active, engaged, and connected. Essential Requirements Applicants must have: NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check Current First Aid & CPR certification Valid NSW Driver's Licence (Full or P2) Right to work in Australia Desirable (but not essential) Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) Experience in disability, youth work, or community programs Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or behaviours If you're new to the sector but bring the right energy and attitude, we encourage you to apply.
