Responsibilities

  • Leading small to mid-scale projects within the Operations & Supply area, from concept to implementation
  • Defining technical specifications and managing the acquisition of manufacturing technologies and production equipment (e.g. drilling/milling machines, moulds, complete production lines, including painting processes)
  • Participation in process optimization, quality improvement, and product cost-out initiatives across European factories

  • Our requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a similar field (other educational backgrounds are also welcome with relevant experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in technical specification and acquisition of production equipment
  • Experience in Technical Project Management and project planning/execution
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes and how they interlink (big-picture thinking)
  • Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing technologies (e.g. drilling/milling, moulding, painting)
  • Basic understanding of machine safety and the Machinery Directive
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and willingness to travel for business purposes (up to X days per year)
  • CAD experience, preferably with mould design/construction will be beneficial
  • Availability for business travel (approx. 40-50 days per year)
