About the role

This internship is scheduled to start on 1st of September for a duration of 6 months. The role requires a minimum commitment of 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • The position involves a primary mission to synthesize technical data from chemical suppliers into consumer- and client-facing documentation:
  • Data Stewardship: Review existing raw material and supplier chemical data for completeness and compliance.
  • Regulatory Compilation: Map chemical supplier Safety Data Sheets against REACH guidelines to safely draft client-ready Article Information Sheets.
  • System Optimization: Track, organize, and input verified chemical compliance data into internal databases.
  • Cross-functional Alignment: Interact proactively with Product Compliance mentors to turn complex regulatory frameworks into understandable, accessible data.
  • Reviewing data concerning the chemical substances present in our specialized tapes and converting complex supplier Safety Data Sheets (SDS) into clear, comprehensive Article Information Sheets (AIS) containing vital safety info and regulatory compliance breakdowns.
  • Required Education:
  • Currently enrolled in an Academic or Professional Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, or a closely related scientific discipline at a higher education institution (valid enrollment required for the entire duration).
  • Skills you need to succeed:
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of Chemistry or Material Sciences, meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Proactive team player who is also comfortable taking ownership of tasks and working independently with sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a confidence to ask questions to clarify complex scientific parameters.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and oral). Additional European languages are an asset.
  • Comfortable navigating Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office.
