This role of Rehabilitation Specialist will be to deliver Nuffield Health Social Impact Programmes utilising the unique Nuffield Health pathway and championing the Charitable Purpose to 'Build a healthier nation'. This role will play a crucial part in Nuffield Health's long-term vision for supporting people with long term conditions with tailored, structured exercise programmes. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the role will require the Rehabilitation Specialist to undertake virtual and in person facilitation of appropriate exercise programming for people with varying abilities & physical function, offering emotional wellbeing support, facilitating individual and group learning around various topics and to promote positive behaviour change, all aiding in an individual's recovery. Essential qualifications Level 3 personal training or equivalent qualification required. This is to become CIMSPA accredited, which a requirement for public liability purposes to deliver exercise-based programmes. Organisations such as BASRaT can also be accepted. Desirable qualifications Degree in exercise science, clinical exercise or similar is desirable but not required. Additional qualifications or CPD in fields such as BACPR cardiac training, recovery management, GP referral, circuit training, outdoor training or symptom/condition specific exercise management is useful but not necessary. Essential experience IT literate, comfortable using online applications including video conferencing software, MS Office and experience with bespoke operational systems, such as VITA is useful. Experience in working with patients/participants with at least 1 long-term condition, and can discuss/evidence how they worked with these individual(s) Desirable experience - Experience not required but will make the launch of LTC at site smoother Experience delivering group exercise training. Experience delivering 1-2-1 training. Experience in MSK management, particularly around rehab after MSK surgery, similar to NH's recovery+ programme.
