Greetings from Fabergent, Kindly let me know if you are currently available in the job market Feel free to reach me on 770-702-0597 or tissaATfabergent.com Please respond with your updated profile if interested Title : Security Engineer Location : Rockville, MD Duration : 12+ months Essential Job Functions: - Gather user requirements and translate those into implemented rules - Work with end-users to troubleshoot connectivity issues -Create enhanced monitoring of software defined perimeter solution - Perform thorough testing of new software clients and work to have them deployed in production - Collaborate with software Vendor to address issues as they arise - Test and upgrade the AWS stack as new AMI's become available Other Job Functions: - Create documentation for end-users and other engineers. - Automate manual tasks. - Developing custom scripts to automate monitoring tasks Education/Experience Requirements - Bachelor's degree in engineering or information systems or other related field - Knowledge of networking technologies such as firewalls, proxies, gateways, and load balancers - Familiarity with many standard TCP/IP protocols such as DNS, SSH, HTTP(S), and TLS/SSL - Experience with the Linux and Windows Operating Systems - Exposure to AWS Services: EC2, S3, LAMBDA all pluses - Experience with python, perl, or other scripting language - Splunk> experience a plus - Any industry standard Security Certification a plus All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
