About the role

Responsible for handling shipping admin matters pertaining to import and export. Major Responsibilities Handle import documentation and customs clearance. Monitor import shipment ETAs, forward relevant documents to the appointed forwarder for cargo clearance, and update Purchasing and Warehouse on the ETA of FCL/LCL import shipments. Liaise with the Warehouse Admin Assistant regarding loading bay availability. Liaise with hauliers on trucking arrangements. Update relevant parties (internal or external) if any issues arise (e.g., container damage, cargo damage during transfer, vessel delays, etc.). Handle the courier of documents, samples, and finished products. Apply for Free Sale Certificates with the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). Assist the Senior Shipping Executive in preparing export documentation. 9. To cover the reception area as required in the absence of the receptionist. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills : Minimum N or O Level qualification with at least 1 year of relevant experience in logistic/shipping. Able to communicate effectively. Computer literate Able to multi-task and work independently Able to handle tight timeline Positive attitude and a team player Other info: Frequent Shuttle bus from/to Lakeside MRT & Buroh Lane Working hours is 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
