Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services, primarily in Java
• Work closely with senior engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in the full development lifecycle-from understanding requirements to implementation, testing, and deployment
• Support integration and platform-related initiatives across multiple systems
• Take part in code reviews and technical discussions to continuously improve ways of working
• Help troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and test environments
• Contribute to deployment and runtime activities in cloud-based environments (e.g., containerized services, Kubernetes)

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in software development (or equivalent practical experience)
• Solid foundation in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages
• Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment
• Excellent working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international team
• A curious mindset and willingness to learn and grow
• Experience with Python, SQL, or other relevant programming languages and tools.
• Familiarity with capital markets, fintech, or other regulated technology environments.
• Exposure to global or multicultural teams in a technology setting.
• This position will be located in Vilnius and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
