The Senior Director, IT - JAPAC, serves as the senior technology leader for the Japan & Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region and the IT Site Leader for the Kuala Lumpur (KL) Business Service Center (BSC). This role is accountable for regional solution delivery, strategic business partnership, and operational excellence, while ensuring a strong IT employee experience, talent development, and performance culture at the BSC within a global, matrixed IT organization. The role partners closely with senior business and functional leaders to define, deliver, and govern secure, compliant, and scalable technology solutions, ensuring alignment with Global IT strategy while enabling effective regional execution and site‑level performance. How You Will Make an Impact: Regional IT Business Partnership & Solution Delivery (JAPAC) - Strategic Transformation & Value Leadership (JAPAC) - Own and drive a rolling three‑year regional IT roadmap aligned to global strategy and JAPAC business priorities, with clear outcomes, milestones, and value realization across Commercial , Supply Chain & Logistics , and Data & AI domains. - Lead region‑specific digital and technology transformation , modernizing processes, platforms, and data capabilities to address unique country and market needs while maintaining global scalability and compliance. - Identify and deliver significant, measurable business value , proactively challenging legacy ways of working and introducing bold, creative solutions that accelerate growth, efficiency, and decision‑making in the region. - Own the regional IT portfolio, Core Transformation Focus Areas o Commercial (Sales, Marketing & Commercial Operations) § Transform commercial capabilities across demand generation, customer engagement, pricing, forecasting, and field effectiveness. § Partner with commercial leadership to enable data‑driven decision‑making, digital go‑to‑market models, and improved customer experiences across JAPAC markets. o Supply Chain & Logistics § Drive end‑to‑end modernization of supply chain and logistics capabilities, including planning, manufacturing integration, inventory, distribution, and regional fulfillment. § Enable resilience, visibility, and agility across the supply chain by leveraging digital platforms, analytics, and automation. o Data & AI § Establish a strong regional vision for data, analytics, and AI adoption, aligning with enterprise platforms while accelerating local use cases. § Champion AI‑enabled insights, decision support, and operational intelligence to improve commercial performance, supply reliability, and executive visibility. - Enterprise Collaboration & Governance: o Operate as the senior regional orchestrator, collaborating closely with Global IT delivery organizations and platform teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment. o Coordinate structured, periodic reviews with IT Delivery Leaders responsible for: § Idea‑to‑Market § Order‑to‑Cash § Enablement & Corporate Functions § Commercial Operations & Marketing o Ensure regional priorities are clearly represented, dependencies are managed, and delivery commitments translate into realized business outcomes. - Leadership Profile & Ways of Working: o Operates as a bold, outcome‑driven business leader , pairing strategic vision with hands‑on execution. o Thinks enterprise‑first , challenges the status quo, and translates technology decisions into measurable business value. o Influences effectively in a global, matrixed environment , aligning stakeholders without direct authority. o Brings clear options and recommendations to leaders, tying initiatives to growth, efficiency, resilience, and speed‑to‑market. - Act as a trusted advisor to senior executive leadership, providing comprehensive portfolio insight across IT‑ and business‑managed technology services, including financial management, service performance, security, risk, and compliance. - Drive end‑to‑end delivery accountability, from solution discovery and design through deployment, adoption, steady‑state operations, and value realization. - Define and evolve IT operating models and partner ecosystems, establishing performance metrics and governance to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solution delivery aligned with regional and global business priorities.
